PASQUALE MARINO FOOTBALL ACADEMY
Football is a social activity that brings people together through outdoors physical exercise. This sport has historically represented a powerful means of connection between peoples, dreaming and hoping for younger generations as well as, more importantly, resistance and emancipation for the oppressed portions of society. Pasquale Marino was a football lover and knower as well as a relentless supporter of young people’s participation in local football teams. In his name, the Pasquale Marino Football Academy aims to support future footballers, in The Gambia and beyond, to pursue their dream, through the establishment and coordination of football teams, the provision of (preferably second-hand) equipment and training,the organisation of football exchanges and tournaments and so on.
